Before you get your panties in a bunch that we might be creating
exhibits of stripping robots
or some other form of prurient titilation, calm down. Burlesque meant
a lot more things to the world
before you came along. Not saying that we wouldn't actually create
stripping robots, of course,
but that's not all that burlesque is about.

Mechanical-Burlesque 1.2
Tuesday, October 29, 2002, 2:15 PM, Cuesta College
List of Elements
Same as MB1.1, with the removal of
Burning The Midnight Tidybowl and Barbie Slam
and accompanied by a general reordering of several of the
elements.
All in all this performance went well, with only a couple of elements not performing properly.
Mechanical-Burlesque 1.1
Tuesday, June 12, 2001, 1:00 PM, Fresno City College
List of Elements
Same as MB1, with the removal of
Is That A Rocket In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Happy To See
Us
which was replaced by Spin Doctor, and the complete
removal
of Pop-Eye
This particular show was disrupted by the wind in a big way.
During setup
we couldn't keep the elements set up...when the show was run we
couldn't
make the elements operate.
All in all it was a disaster...but still quite a valuable
experience.
Look for Mechanical Burlesque 1.2 sometime soon!
